The Co-op’s wine department, built through the years by Vic Hubbard, has one of Bellingham’s finest selections of wine from around the world. You can find many Northwest wines—from Mt. Baker Vineyards to Lopez Island Winery, from Washington’s “wine country” and Oregon’s wineries, and from the world-renown California wine regions—as well as wines from every region of the world. Vic offers a constantly evolving selection of wines from Australia and New Zealand, Germany, France, Spain, and South America. And don’t forget about the array of dessert wines and champagnes. Ask Vic for suggestions for wine to match any meal or any budget; he is a wealth of information and one of the finest wine stewards in our region.
