Swan Café & Deli
The Swan Café & Deli was voted by the readers
of the Bellingham Weekly as the 2004 and 2005 Best Vegetarian
Restaurant. While it’s always an honor to be voted the
best of anything, it’s not completely accurate since
the Swan Café & Deli also offers a variety of options
that contain fish or meat. Either way, the Deli concentrates
on the freshest ingredients, using local organic produce whenever
possible, and concocts scrumptious dishes for every diet,
from meat or seafood dishes to vegetarian to vegan.
Be sure to visit our Cheese Island, located near the Deliit
has one of the best selections of cheese in Bellingham. You’ll
find locally made Samish Bay organic cheese from Skagit Valley
as well as wheels of brie, authentic Greek feta, and European-style
butter. Don’t miss the olive bar!

We are sensitive to special dietary needs. You’ll find many prepared salads and baked goods available for special diets such as wheat free, gluten free, low carbohydrate, low fat, and low sodium. Ask our servers for possibilities to match your needs.
Juice/Espresso Bar
The Deli uses organic fresh fruits and vegetables in our
juice combinations. Our juices are all non-pasteurized, offering
the full benefits of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes of fresh
produce. We use fresh juices and five organic frozen fruits
in our smoothies. Our smoothie bases include kefir, yogurt,
milk, and half & halfall organically produced.
Design your own smoothie or juice drink or enjoy one of our many tasty specials, from pure, fresh-squeezed orange juice or a shot of wheat grass to our most popular blends: Appleaid (apple, lemon, line, ginger), Hawaiian rabbit (carrots, orange, pineapple, ginger), and Emerald Pineapple (pineapple, banana, kefir, spirulina). For something really unusual try the Mocha Monkey (banana, milk, ice, chocolate, peanut butter, espresso). There’s a juice and smoothie special every day.
The Co-op offers a full line of organic espresso drinks using
Fair Trade coffee.
