The Co-op’s Wellness department has the most comprehensive selection of natural supplements and beauty products in Bellingham. Our supplement selection—many from organic sources—includes New Chapter, Natural Factors, and Rainbow Light. The Co-op also has its own line of natural supplements. You’ll find herbal products such as Herb Pharm, Eclectic, and Oregon Wild Harvest, natural cold and flu remedies, homeopathic formulas, and protein powders. You will also find natural beauty products such as Burt’s Bees, Kiss My Face, Zia, Avalon, Ecco Bella, and Jason. The Wellness department offers locally produced items such as soaps, lotions, and lip balms. You’ll find essential oils, body scrubs, mineral bath salts, and cosmetics, not to mention the usual—toothpaste, shampoos, and sunscreen.

Our department is fully staffed during all open hours—experienced and knowledgeable staff is always available to answer all your health and well-being questions. Another great resource is Healthnotes, a computerized touch screen system accessible in the department. Healthnotes gathers and compiles information from more than 550 medical and scientific journals, offering information on living, pharmacy, food, produce, meat and seafood, and other topics. Healthnotes is completely searchable and you can print information that you’ve found, including recipes.
