Grocery

The Community Food Co-op, voted the Best Grocery Store in Bellingham in 2004 and again in 2005 by readers of the Bellingham Weekly, carries more than 20,000 high-quality natural and organic grocery items, from olive oil to crackers, from chocolate to salsa, from tea to pasta.

In addition to all the “regular” grocery items, you’ll find several special sections such as East Indian and Mexican foods.

Many of our items contain organic ingredients and many are locally produced or manufactured. Our philosophy is to carry the best we can for the best prices. The Co-op aims for a balance of products while working toward promoting sustainability and organics, and, at the same time, contributing to the Co-op’s fiscal solvency. The Co-op’s Vision, Mission, and Values statements speak for the membership as a whole and act as a fundamental guide in the Co-op’s product selection. We strive to meet the varied and diverse needs of all our members.

Members can buy case lots at a discounted price; call the Service Desk for more information: 734-8158.

The Co-op has many items on sale throughout the month. The sales flier is mailed with the member newsletter; for more information, see Sales.
